Masters Par-tee: Sportsish Edition

April is synonymous with springtime, rain showers, and—for most men—the Masters Golf Tournament held in Augusta, Georgia. It is held on a pedestal as one of the most prestigious in golf, filled with history and tradition, not to mention the incredibly beautiful setting. It is so beautiful that we've even heard our grandpas compare it to what they think Heaven looks like. That's sure a hot take.

If you're looking for reasons to like a sport that many think is boring, we have quite a few. We're looking forward to golfers and their families participating in Wednesday's Par 3 contest, the littles in their caddy outfits, the famous Magnolia Lane marking the entrance to the course, and the cutest girlfriends and wives cheering on their men at this year's Masters.

Since we've proclaimed 2024 as a 'girl's year,' we are taking it into our own hands to make golf tournaments for the girls, and what better way to do that than by throwing the cutest spring party with the help of our friends at Bonjour Fête.

Here are the essential items for the grand weekend to ensure a successful and enjoyable party. Use code THESPORTSISH for 15% off this product!

For the past 50 years, the Masters Tournament has been famous for serving delicious food dressed in green wrapping for cheap. Patron favorites include Pimento Cheese SandwichesGeorgia Peach Ice Cream Sandwiches, and an ice-cold Arnold Palmer. If you're not attending for the golf or the beautiful scenery, it's safe to say you 100% should be there for the Georgia Peach Ice Cream.

Of course, as the hostess, you’ll need an outfit. There are quite a few directions you can go with this, including, but not limited to, a cute Southern golfer, a cool caddy, a Southern belle, or even a Masters champion with your very own green jacket. Whatever outfit you pick, make sure you have cute tennis shoes and that pastels are included. It’s basically a Masters MUST.

Whether you're an avid golf fan or just a casual spectator, this week is full of fun! Embrace the sweet family moments, iconic moments, yummy food, and 'heaven-like' setting, and become a Masters fan.
